Cointree

Cointree is a first-floor barn conversion on the outskirts of Sturminster Newton, reached along a private road and up an external staircase. The open-plan living space has exposed wooden beams, an apex window and a kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Views run over the treetops towards the River Divelish.

The king-size bedroom opens onto the decked balcony, which has furniture, while the second bedroom is a twin whose beds can be zip/linked into a super-king on request. The shower room has a walk-in shower, a basin and a WC. In the kitchen are an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a washing machine and a dishwasher. A Smart TV with Netflix, WiFi and electric underfloor heating are provided, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included.

Two well-behaved pets are welcome, and lanes and open fields start at the doorstep. Parking is off the road. Check-in is from 16:30 and check-out by 11am. Smoking is not allowed and a good-housekeeping bond is payable. A shop is 1 mile away and a pub 0.7 miles. The owners run a health centre on site, with chiropractic, massage and complementary therapies bookable in advance. It suits a couple with up to two pets, or two couples sharing, who can manage the outside stairs.
