The Stables
Barn conversion for four on a 130-acre farm, with swings and parking
The Stables is a traditional barn conversion with exposed beams, set in the rural hamlet of Fifehead Neville near Hazelbury Bryan, within the owners' 130 acres of wooded farmland. Hazelbury Bryan is 1.8 miles away, and the property is near Sturminster Newton. The views run across the Blackmore Vale, and footpaths and bridleways can be reached from the doorstep.
Two bedrooms sleep four, one with a double bed and one with twin single beds. There are two bathrooms: one upstairs with a bath and shower over, and a ground-floor shower room with a basin and WC. The house has a kitchen/diner with an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a washing machine and a dishwasher, plus a sitting room with a TV, a DVD player, WiFi, books and videos. Oil central heating is fitted, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included. A travel cot is available on request.
The garden is enclosed and has a lawn, a patio with furniture and swings for children aged 3 to 10, and it sits next to a field of horses. Parking is off the road for up to six cars. The nearest pub is 1.4 miles away and the shop 1.6 miles.
One well-behaved pet is welcome, dogs are not allowed upstairs, and smoking is not allowed. A good-housekeeping bond is payable. It suits a family with younger children who want an enclosed garden, plenty of parking and a farm setting.
