Dorset Hollow

Dorset Hollow is a detached cottage in the village of Symondsbury, close to the market town of Bridport. It sleeps seven in four bedrooms, all upstairs and all overlooking the garden. A pub, a cafe and a farm shop are within walking distance. A shared driveway leads to the cottage, and off-road parking for four vehicles is at the front.

The sitting room has an inglenook with a wood burner, plus a TV and DVD player. In the kitchen/diner there is a second inglenook and wood burner, and the first baskets of logs are included. The kitchen has an electric range-style oven and hob, a dishwasher and a microwave, and the utility room has a washing machine and tumble dryer. Winding stairs lead from the sitting room to the first floor, with a retractable stair gate at the top.

Upstairs there is a super-king-size zip-and-link bedroom that can be arranged as a twin on request, two king-size bedrooms (one has a TV) and a single. A bathroom with a shower over the bath and a separate shower room share the floor, and there is a WC downstairs.

The enclosed garden sits mostly at the front and is staged across several levels. Doors from the kitchen open onto a decked area with a table, a gas barbecue and the hot tub, and the lawns hold a trampoline. Guests may bring two dogs, and extra charges may apply. The cottage suits a family of up to seven with children who will use the trampoline.
