Flood House

Flood House is a holiday home for up to six guests on three floors, in Bothenhampton, near Bridport. The pub and the shop are each 0.5 miles away and the beach is 1 mile. A cycle path runs down to West Bay.

The lounge has an original window seat, a gas fire in the style of a wood burner and a Smart TV with Netflix and a DVD player. The country-style kitchen/diner has a farmhouse table, an AGA and an electric oven and hob, as well as a dishwasher, a washing machine, a fridge/freezer and a microwave. The family bathroom, with a bath, a separate shower and a WC, is on the ground floor.

Upstairs there are three bedrooms. On the first floor are a king-size with an en-suite shower room and a second bedroom, and on the second floor is a family room under the eaves with a king-size and a single bed. Ceilings are low and sloping on the second floor, and the house takes a maximum of six guests. A cot and highchair are available on request.

A stable door leads from the kitchen to the enclosed, south-facing garden, which has a generous lawn, patios with seating, a gas barbecue and a private hot tub. Guests need to bring their own towels for the hot tub. Private parking is for three cars. Three dogs are allowed, and additional charges may apply. The house suits a family or friends with up to three dogs who want a hot tub and are happy with three floors of stairs.
