Meadow Cottage

Meadow Cottage sits on a lane beside meadows in Bridport, less than 0.5 miles from the town centre. The shop and the pub are 400 metres away, and West Bay and its beaches are 1.5 miles off. The lane that leads to the cottage is very narrow.

The ground floor is a single open space with a lounge, a kitchen with a Nespresso pod machine, and a dining table between the two. The wood burner heats the lounge, and cooking is on a gas cooker and hob. The family bathroom, with a bath, a handheld shower attachment and a WC, is also downstairs.

On the first floor are a king-size bedroom, which can be made up as twins if you ask when booking, and a single bedroom with an en-suite WC. A twin bedroom with two single futon beds is on the second floor, up steep stairs.

Outside, an enclosed courtyard has an outbuilding for bikes and wet suits, with a washing machine and a microwave. Beyond it a large garden has a long lawn, a barbecue and seating. Parking is private, for one car. Two dogs are allowed, and additional charges may apply. The cottage suits a family of five with older children who can manage steep stairs and who want a garden and West Bay close by.
