Grooms Cottage

Grooms Cottage is on a working farm with a vineyard at Salwayash, 2 miles from Bridport town centre. It sleeps six in three bedrooms. The pub is 0.5 miles away, the shop 1.2 miles and the beach 4.5 miles. The cottage cannot take dogs.

Electronic gates lead past the main house to the front of the cottage. The hallway has space for coats and boots, a cloakroom and a utility room with a washing machine and dryer. The open-plan living, kitchen and dining room has a Smart TV, an ornamental fireplace and an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a dishwasher and an American-style fridge/freezer. A snug behind the dining area looks onto farmland and the vineyard.

The king-size bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a bath and a separate shower. Two double bedrooms and a family shower room, with a double shower and a WC, complete the floor. EV charging is available at the property.

A hot tub is in the enclosed rear garden. The cottage is on a vineyard with no access to the main house garden or to the fields, so guests must keep to public footpaths. A large pond in front of the main house is out of bounds because of its depth and position. The cottage suits a group of adults, or a family with older children, who want a hot tub and a farm setting, and are not travelling with dogs.
