Eweleaze

Eweleaze is a single-storey farm home in West Bexington, looking towards Chesil Beach and the Jurassic Coast. The open-plan living space, about 6.8m by 2.5m, combines the kitchen, a dining table and a sitting area with a wood-burning stove. A wood basket and a starter pack for the stove are included in the rent, on a seasonal basis.

Two bedrooms sleep four: a double of about 4m by 2.4m, and a second room with bunk beds. The bathroom has a bath with a shower over, a heated towel rail and a WC. A boot room holds the washing machine and some storage. Electric storage heating, bed linen and towels are all included, and there is a smart TV, WiFi, a selection of board games, books and local tourist information.

The garden is intentionally left wild, with lawn, shrubs and a deck with outdoor furniture, and the farm around it is a mix of woodland, fields and market and fruit gardens. The beach is about 500m away by a farm route, under ten minutes on foot through fields or by road, and a bar and restaurant are under 400m from the door. Parking is a garage for one car, with more outdoor space available first come, first served, and ample parking in the village.

One well-behaved dog is welcome. Smoking is not allowed inside. There are steps down from the double bedroom and from the utility area, so take care. It suits a family of four with a dog who want the beach and a bar and restaurant both within a short walk.
