Follis Cottage

Follis Cottage is a converted stable beside the owners' house in Nottington, a village just outside Weymouth. The owners live within the grounds and are happy to share local advice when asked. The Spa House, a hexagonal building the village is known for, can be seen from the grounds.

Everything is on the ground floor. One open-plan room combines the kitchen, dining area and sitting area, with an oven and hob, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher, a washing machine, a tumble dryer, a TV and WiFi. There is also a separate laundry room, reached from the rear of the cottage. Heating is electric, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included.

The two bedrooms are a double and a twin with single beds, each with a dressing table, two chairs and large wardrobes. The bathroom has a bath with a shower over it. Together they sleep four. A cot and a highchair are available.

A generous lawned garden is for guests to use, reached by a gravelled path or from the parking area, and off-road parking is at the cottage. The pub and the river are 5 minutes away, the shop is 10, and Weymouth's beach is 2 miles off. Pets and smoking are not allowed. Stays must be at least seven nights from May to September and at least four from October to April. The cottage suits a couple or a small family who want a single-storey layout.
