Mellstock

Mellstock puts its twin bedroom on the ground floor and its double upstairs, where the decoration has nautical touches. Mellstock is part of the Wey Meadow Cottages, a group of purpose-built cottages on a working farm. The house stands in Nottington, 3.4 miles from Weymouth, and sleeps four.

Besides the sitting/dining room, the kitchen has an electric oven with an induction hob, a microwave, a fridge, a dishwasher, a kettle and a toaster. Laundry goes through a communal washer/dryer. The bath has a shower over it. Oil central heating, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are covered by the rent, and a TV, a DVD player and WiFi are provided.

Two outdoor spaces come with the house: a garden shared with other guests, and an enclosed gravelled area with seating and a barbecue. There is an allocated parking space, and a travel cot, a highchair and a stairgate are available on request.

Up to three well-behaved dogs are welcome, and smoking is not allowed. Check-in is at 4pm, check-out is at 10am, and a good-housekeeping bond is payable. The shop is 1.3 miles away, the pub 1.5 miles and the beach 2.8 miles. Mellstock is best for a family or friends with a dog, where someone wants the ground-floor twin.
