Garland

Garland takes up to three well-behaved dogs and keeps everything on a single level. It is one of the Wey Meadow Cottages, built to an architect's design on a working farm in Nottington, 3.4 miles from the centre of Weymouth. A double bedroom and a twin sleep four.

The bathroom has a roll-top bath with a shower over it. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher, a kettle and a toaster, and laundry goes through a communal washer/dryer. Oil central heating, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all in the rent, and the sitting/dining room has a TV, a DVD player and WiFi.

Outdoors, the garden is shared with other guests and has seating and a barbecue. An allocated parking space comes with the property. For young children, a travel cot, a highchair and a stairgate can be requested.

For a larger party it can be booked together with the other Wey Meadow cottages, sleeping up to 48 guests in all. Check-in is at 4pm and check-out by 10am. Smoking is not allowed, and a good-housekeeping bond is payable. The nearest shop is 1.3 miles away, the pub 1.5 miles and the beach 2.8 miles. Garland suits two couples or a small family travelling with dogs who want a home without stairs.
