Granny's Teeth

Granny's Teeth is a single-storey chalet close to Monmouth Beach in Lyme Regis, named after the steps on the nearby Cobb harbour. At the front, a decked veranda faces south-west and has furniture and a view to the sea. Parking is designated, off-road and for one car.

Everything is on one level. The open-plan sitting and dining area has a fold-away table, a dimmer switch, a smart TV, a Bluetooth radio and a selection of books. The kitchen is small but has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge with an ice box and a washing machine. Heating is electric.

Of the two bedrooms, one has a double bed with storage and the other a bunk bed, which takes two children or one adult. A shower cubicle and a separate WC with basin serve both. Space is tight, so the chalet takes a maximum of three adults, or two adults and two children. There is no cot space, so it does not accept infants.

Rent covers fuel and power, bed linen and towels. The shop and the pub are each 0.4 miles away. Neither pets nor smoking are permitted. It suits a small family, or three adults sharing, who want a compact chalet close to the beach and a parking space of their own.
