Hazel Copse Cottage

Hazel Copse Cottage is a former barn at the edge of a 70-acre farm in Langton Herring. The owners began restoring the land more than 25 years ago, replanting native grasses and wildflowers, and guests may walk the marked footpaths across it. The South West Coast Path is steps from the door. The cottage sleeps four and suits two couples, or a family, who want to walk straight out from the cottage.

The open-plan lounge, kitchen and diner has ceiling beams, exposed brickwork and a skylight. A few steps up lead to the double bedroom, which has an en-suite shower room with WC, and the twin bedroom opens off the living space. A second bathroom has a WC. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a fridge with a freezer box, a microwave and a washing machine, and a travel cot and highchair are available.

Outside is a terrace with garden furniture and a BBQ grill, and a large grassy playing area. Guests share a car park on the farm with the neighbouring cottage, and the owners ask you to say in advance if you want to bring a second car. Please bring your own bathroom and beach towels. Dogs are not allowed.

The pub is 1 mile away, the nearest shop is 3 miles and the beach is 4.5 miles. The cottage can be booked alongside a neighbouring cottage on the farm that sleeps a further four.
