Highpoint Lodge

Highpoint Lodge is a restored cottage in Lyme Regis, painted pale blue and sleeping six. The main room is an open-plan space with high ceilings, a bare brick feature wall and tartan sofas, and French windows open from it onto a decked seating area and the lawn. A woodburning stove is part of the same space, and wooden flooring separates the sitting and dining areas.

Two of the three bedrooms are on the ground floor: a king-size with bay windows and a twin. The third is a double with a writing desk. There is one shower room, with a walk-in shower. Kitchen equipment runs to an electric oven, a gas hob, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a dishwasher, a washing machine and a Nespresso coffee machine, and a hairdryer and WiFi are provided. Heating is by gas, and the rent covers fuel, power, bed linen and towels.

The garden is enclosed, with a lawn, furniture and the decking. Off-road parking takes two cars. The nearest pub is 0.2 miles away and the nearest shop 0.4 miles.

Up to two dogs are accepted. There is no smoking, and a bond for good housekeeping is payable. The lodge suits a family or two couples who want a ground-floor bedroom, and it works for a group travelling with a pair of dogs.
