Honeysuckle Cottage

Honeysuckle Cottage in Lyme Regis is a Grade II listed building that was once part of a medieval stable. Guests arrive across a cobbled courtyard to a stone building with yellow window frames. It sleeps six in three bedrooms: a king-size with its own en-suite shower room, a double and a twin.

Inside there is a kitchen, a separate dining room and a sitting room, where blue sofas surround an electric fire stove and half-moon windows let in light. Heating is electric, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a dishwasher and a washing machine, and there is WiFi, a DVD player, a CD player and a radio. The en-suite has a walk-in shower and a heated towel rail, and the main bathroom has a bath with a shower over it.

The outdoor space is an enclosed patio with shrubs, trees and furniture. It has no grass, and although it is fenced it is not suitable for leaving a very small dog unsupervised. Parking is for one car, and the space has a maximum width of 2.4 metres, so check a wide vehicle will fit. The nearest pub is 0.1 miles away and the nearest shop 0.3 miles.

One well-behaved dog is welcome. Smoking is not allowed, and a good-housekeeping bond is payable. The cottage suits a family or a group of adults who want an old building with an enclosed patio and a dog along.
