Jemma's Cottage - Manor Farm

Jemma's Cottage is on Manor Farm at Frome St Quintin, near Dorchester and Maiden Newton. It sits within five acres of the owners' grounds, and guests are invited to use the open space. The shops and pubs are within 3 miles, and the beach is 17 miles away.

You enter an open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area with exposed beams, a TV with a DVD player and a kitchen that was replaced in 2020, with an electric oven and hob, a fridge with an ice compartment and a microwave. A sofa bed in the lounge can be made up if needed. The ground-floor bathroom has a shower over the bath. Upstairs, the super-king bedroom has French doors onto a private enclosed balcony with seating. The cottage is booked for two guests.

Washing facilities are shared: the utility room in an outbuilding, with a washing machine and a fridge and freezer, is not private to the cottage. Towels are not provided. Outside, the shared lawns have a small ornamental pond, so take care with children. There is a seating area at the rear and an outside tap for muddy paws and boots. Off-road parking has plenty of room.

You can bring two dogs, and additional charges may apply. The cottage suits a couple who want a peaceful setting with room for a dog to roam and a balcony off the bedroom.
