Westholme

Westholme is a first-floor studio-style apartment at Frome St Quintin, near Maiden Newton and Dorchester. It stands next to the owners' home, and the view is across the Frome Valley countryside and the village. Access is along a shared drive and up an external oak staircase, and the eaves slope, so there is restricted head height in places.

The living space is open plan, combining a galley kitchen, a lounge, a dining area and the bed. The kitchen has a two-ring induction hob, an air fryer, a microwave and a fridge with an ice compartment, and the table seats two. There are tub chairs, a Smart TV and a king-size bed at the rear, served by an en-suite bathroom with a shower over the bath.

The compact private balcony has outdoor seating and far-reaching views. One car can park off-road. An EV charger is available, a tethered Type 2 Zappi unit with a 6kW output, and use is charged per kWh and paid directly to the owner. The pub and shop are within 2 miles and the beach is 17.5 miles away.

One dog is allowed, and additional charges may apply, but the apartment is best suited to a dog under 15kg. It suits a couple who want a single room with a balcony and are content to climb an external staircase.
