2 North Road

2 North Road is a single-storey bungalow in Maiden Newton, standing in its own enclosed grounds. It sleeps four in two bedrooms. The double is at the back of the house and has doors straight onto the garden, while the twin is made up of two zip/link single beds that can be joined as a king-size if you ask when booking. The single bathroom has a bath with a shower over, a basin and a WC.

The sitting room is built around a wood burning stove, and the kitchen/breakfast room opens into a conservatory that looks over the garden. Cooking is electric, and the kitchen also has a dishwasher, a washing machine and a Lavazza coffee machine. There is a smart TV and WiFi, a highchair and travel cot can be supplied, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent. Heating is solar electric.

Off-road parking takes two cars, with a car port and an electric vehicle charging point that carries an extra charge. The rear garden is enclosed, with lawns, mature trees and shrubs and a patio with furniture, and two well-behaved dogs are welcome. Smoking is not allowed.

The village shop is 0.2 miles away and the pub 0.4 miles, with a cafe and restaurant also within walking distance, and a railway station is nearby. A good-housekeeping bond is payable. It suits a couple or a small family, especially one travelling with a dog, who want everything on one level.
