Hebe

Hebe is a semi-detached barn conversion at Notton, a hamlet near Maiden Newton, which is 1.6 miles away. The setting includes ponies and pet sheep that guests are welcome to meet, and a cycle path and a footpath start straight from the barns.

Everything is on a single floor. The open-plan room holds the kitchen, a dining table for four and a sitting area with an electric fire and French doors, and a heat pump feeds the underfloor heating. The super-king-size bedroom has two zip-linked beds that can be set as a twin on request; the second bedroom is a king-size. Both have an en-suite wet room with a walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail and WC.

Appliances are an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher and a washing machine, and there are a TV and WiFi. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent. The front garden is enclosed, with a lawn and seating, and the rear patio has furniture. The driveway holds several cars. The shop is 1.5 miles away and the pub 1.6 miles.

Three well-behaved dogs are welcome, and more can be requested. Smoking is not allowed, no children under 12 can stay, and a good-housekeeping bond is payable. Full-week stays run Friday to Friday, short breaks run Monday to Friday or Friday to Monday, and the owner accepts Monday and Friday changeovers only. Hebe can be booked together with a second property for up to eight guests in total. It suits a couple, or two couples, travelling with dogs.
