Jurassic Discovery

Jurassic Discovery is a single-storey static caravan on Wood Farm Country & Leisure Park in Charmouth, in the Char Valley. It sleeps six: a double and a twin bedroom, plus a pull-out double sofa bed in the lounge. The bathroom has a shower cubicle, basin and WC, with no bath. The open-plan living space combines the kitchen, dining and sitting areas, with gas central heating and a patio terrace with furniture outside.

The kitchen has an electric oven, a gas hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a kettle and a toaster. There is a Smart TV and Wi-Fi, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent. The park has a launderette, and charges are payable.

Park facilities include a small bar and cafe, a tennis court, a family fishing lake, an indoor swimming pool and a playground, along with a dog walking area. Everything on site, swimming sessions included, must be pre-booked at reception 24 hours ahead, and the pool has restricted opening over Christmas and New Year. The on-site car park has EV charging points. There are steps up to the entrance. Check-in is from 4pm and check-out by 10am.

One well-behaved dog is welcome, smoking is not allowed, and a good-housekeeping bond is payable. The caravan suits a family of up to six who want a pool, a playground and a tennis court on the doorstep.
