Nutwood

Nutwood is a traditional cottage a short distance from Charmouth that sleeps six across three floors, so there are stairs to climb. There are two doubles and a twin. One double has an en-suite with a walk-in shower, the other double is on the second floor, and the main bathroom has a bath with a shower over it.

The sitting room is built around a woodburning stove, and logs for it are not supplied, so bring or buy your own. Gas central heating runs through the rest of the house. The kitchen/diner has an electric oven and grill, a gas hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher and a washing machine/tumble dryer. The television is a smart one, and there is fibre WiFi. The rent includes fuel, power, bed linen and towels, and a travel cot is available. The booking carries a bond for good housekeeping.

At the back there is an enclosed garden with a patio, a summerhouse and garden furniture, and the kitchen's patio doors open onto a terrace with a second table for eating outside.

Parking is for one car, in a private car park nearby reached through an archway. The archway has a height limit of 2.37 metres and a width of 2.9 metres, so it takes cars only and not camper vans, motor homes or trailers. No pets are accepted and smoking is not allowed. It suits a family or two couples who are happy with three floors of stairs and have a single car.
