Little Forge

Little Forge is a modern thatched cottage in West Lulworth. It adjoins its sister property, Forge Cottage. The interior is contemporary, with pale wood flooring, and the living space is a kitchen plus a sitting room and diner with a wood-burning stove.

There are two bedrooms and each has its own bathroom. One is a double with an en-suite shower, hand basin and WC. The other holds a double bed and a single bed, with an en-suite bath, hand basin and WC, which brings the total to five guests. One of the two bedrooms is on the ground floor and a staircase leads to the other on the first floor. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a dishwasher, a washing machine, a fridge and a freezer. A cot and highchair can be provided, and WiFi and a Bose speaker dock are included. Gas central heating is fitted, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are covered by the rent.

Outdoor space is a patio with a table and chairs. Guests do not have use of the lawned garden, only the patio. The parking bay takes one car and measures 3m by 10m, and the nearest public pay-and-display car park is Lulworth Cove, about a 15-minute walk away. Electric car charging is not permitted at the property.

Pets are not accepted. A good-housekeeping bond is payable. The cottage suits a couple who want a fireside evening, or a small family who would like a bedroom on the ground floor.
