Lodge 6

Lodge 6 is an architect-designed forest lodge on the outskirts of Corfe Castle, set in a wildlife haven. It has three bedrooms for six guests and two bathrooms. Layouts and furnishings vary slightly between lodges on the park, and the photos may not show this exact one.

The balcony is private and has the hot tub. A sauna and cold plunge are available on site for an additional fee, and private sessions can be arranged subject to availability. The barbecue stand takes disposable barbecues only.

The living area is upstairs, with a kitchen, a dining table for six and a corner sofa beside the woodburning stove. The king-size bedroom is on that floor too, with an en-suite walk-in shower. Downstairs there are two twins, one with zip/link beds that can be set up as a king-size on request, and a Jack-and-Jill bathroom with a bath and overhead shower. Parking is off-road. A shop and a pub are 2.8 miles away.

Smoking and pets are both ruled out. A cot and highchair are available for a charge per stay, and infants count towards the six. Stargazers will like the low light pollution, and the lodge also suits couples, families or friends who are happy to climb stairs to reach the kitchen and sitting area. Phone ahead for key collection if you arrive after 6pm.
