Lodge 9

Lodge 9 lies within the Dorset AONB, near the village of Corfe Castle. It is a reverse-level lodge for six, so the sleeping and bathing are mostly downstairs and the cooking, eating and relaxing happen on the first floor.

The ground floor has two twin bedrooms, one with zip/link beds that can be presented as a king-size on request, both with access to a Jack-and-Jill bathroom offering a bath or a shower. Upstairs, the third bedroom is a king-size with a high ceiling and its own en-suite walk-in shower. The open-plan living area has a kitchen, a dining table for six, a TV and a sitting area facing the woodburning stove.

Out on the balcony are decking, furniture, a barbecue stand that accepts disposable barbecues only, and the hot tub. Sauna and cold plunge facilities cost extra, and a private session is subject to availability. Parking is off-road, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included. A shop and a pub are 2.8 miles away.

Lodge 9 suits a group of six who are comfortable on stairs and want a hot tub and a stove to come back to. Pets are not allowed, and nor is smoking. Cots and highchairs are available on request at a charge per stay, and infants are counted in the six. Please phone about key collection if you will arrive after 6pm.
