Marnie's Rest

Marnie's Rest is a chalet in Lyme Regis, close to the seafront and with views over the Cobb Harbour. Everything is on one level, and a living area with a sitting area, a Smart TV and a bistro-style dining table opens onto a kitchen with bespoke handmade units. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave and a fridge/freezer, and there is a washing machine.

There are two bedrooms, a double and a twin, and a shower room with a walk-in shower, a basin and a heated towel rail. Electric central heating is fitted, WiFi is provided, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent.

At the front, the decking is enclosed and furnished, a large decked veranda for eating outside. A courtyard with furniture is at the back, overlooked by the kitchen. One car fits in the designated off-road space. The shop, pub and beach are each 0.2 miles from the door.

Although the chalet is on one level, there are two steps up to the front entrance, which is worth knowing before you book. Check-in is from 4pm and check-out by 10am, and pets and smoking are not allowed. It suits a couple or a small family who want a seaside base close to the Cobb.
