Okanagan

Okanagan is a first-floor apartment in the middle of Lyme Regis, reached by a fairly steep external metal staircase. That staircase is worth knowing about before you book, as is the single parking space: it sits along a narrow passageway about 1.9 metres wide with a slight kink, so drivers need to take extreme care, and it is not a public car park.

Inside, the open-plan room combines a kitchen, a dining table and a sitting area warmed by gas central heating and an electric fire. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a grill, a microwave, a fridge/freezer and a washing machine/tumble dryer. A smart TV, a Pure music system and WiFi are included.

Both bedrooms, a king-size and a twin, have picture windows over the street below. The shower room has a walk-in shower, basin and WC. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent, and a shop and a pub are each 0.1 miles away. A hairdryer is supplied. The shops, galleries, cafes and pubs of the town are on the doorstep.

One well-behaved dog is allowed. A good-housekeeping bond applies. The flat is best for a small family, or a couple travelling with a dog, who are comfortable with a steep outdoor staircase.
