Riverdance Cottage

Riverdance Cottage is a Grade II listed house beside the Mill Stream in Lyme Regis, arranged over three floors. The kitchen/diner is on the lower ground floor, with wooden roof beams and a dining table that looks out to the river. A woodburning stove warms the sitting room, though logs for it are not supplied.

There are two bedrooms on the first floor, a kingsize and a double, so the cottage sleeps four. The bathroom is on the ground floor and has a walk-in shower, a basin and a WC, and there is also a cloakroom. The kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, kettle, coffee machine and toaster. Pods for the Nespresso machine are not supplied. There are two TVs and WiFi, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included. A travel cot is in the property, without bedding.

Parking is in public car parks: Woodmead is the closest and Charmouth is a little further away, both with charges. You may pull up near the house to unload, and spaces on the road allow two hours' parking, subject to availability. The cottage has steep steps. Smoking is not allowed, and the cottage is pet-friendly. The shop and beach are 0.2 miles away and the pub 0.1 miles. It suits a couple or a small family who are comfortable with steep steps and stairs.
