Rose Cottage - Lyme Regis

Rose Cottage is in the centre of Lyme Regis, at the top of the high street, and sleeps four in two bedrooms. Shops and pubs are 20 metres away and the beaches 400 metres, and Dinosaurland is 500 metres off.

The porch opens into a living room with a Smart TV and a wood burner, which leads through to a kitchen and dining area under a glass ceiling, with French doors to the rear garden. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a fridge-freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave and a washing machine, and a second Smart TV. Upstairs are a double bedroom, a bunk room and the family bathroom, which has a shower over the bath.

The garden is an enclosed courtyard with furniture and exposed stone walls. Steps lead up to an upper level with a garden room. Guests bring their own beach towels.

Parking is the main constraint. There is no vehicle access to the house because of width restrictions, and cars must not be parked or driven outside it. Guests use public car parks 450 metres away, where spaces are unallocated and fees apply, or street parking limited to 1 or 2 hours. Dogs are not allowed. The cottage suits a family or friends who are happy to leave the car in a public car park.
