Salt & Stone

Salt & Stone is a detached chalet in the Ware Cliff area of Lyme Regis, with everything on one level and open views at the front. Monmouth Beach is moments away, the main sandy beach is within easy reach, and the shop and the pub are each 0.2 miles from the door.

Both bedrooms have their own shower room. The king-size room has doors to the rear decked terrace and an en-suite with a glass-panelled walk-in shower, a basin and a WC. The second bedroom is a bunk room with adult-size bunks and an en-suite shower, basin and WC, so it works for friends as well as children. Electric panel radiators provide the heating.

The open-plan living area has a vaulted ceiling, a sofa and a Smart TV, a kitchen with an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge, a kettle and a toaster, and a dining area with a fitted window seat. A shed outside holds the washing machine, and clothes lines hang over the sunny decking. A small decked terrace at the front is joined by an enclosed decked garden at the back, and the rear one is covered.

There is one dedicated parking space at the chalet, reached by an unmade track that may not suit every vehicle, and its use is at your own risk. Only one car per property is allowed on site; a second vehicle would need Holmbush Car Park at the top of Cobb Road, which charges. One well-behaved dog is welcome, and smoking is not allowed. Check-in is from 4pm and check-out by 10am, and a good-housekeeping bond is payable. It suits a couple with a dog, or four friends sharing.
