Seaside takes up the ground floor of a converted Victorian house, a few metres from the Cobb harbour and seafront in Lyme Regis. French doors lead from the open-plan living area, which has oak floors and a woodburning stove, onto a small south-facing decked terrace with views across the harbour and out to sea. Logs for the stove are not supplied.

The flat takes two adults and two children, and no more. The bedrooms are a double and a children's bunk room, and the bathroom has a bath, basin and WC. A utility room, a washing machine, an electric oven and hob and a microwave cover the practical side, with gas central heating, a TV, a DVD player and WiFi.

Parking is one allocated space in the private Undercliff car park immediately behind the building. A shop and a pub are both 0.1 miles away, and a welcome pack with milk, tea and locally sourced treats is left for arrival. The building is an architect-designed conversion with oak flooring in the main room.

Terrace furniture is provided, the flat is smoke-free and takes no pets, and the fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all in the rent. It suits two adults with two children who want a base close to the Cobb.
