Shoreline Retreat

Shoreline Retreat is a three-storey period house in Bournemouth, 0.2 miles from the beach. The sitting room has a woodburning stove, the kitchen/diner has its own TV, and a utility room and a cloakroom with basin and WC take care of the practical side. The kitchen has an oven, gas hob, fridge/freezer, air fryer and dishwasher, with a washing machine and tumble dryer alongside.

Eight guests are spread across four bedrooms: a super-king-size with TV and balcony, a twin, a king-size with TV, and a second-floor double with TV and a balcony of its own. All of this shares one bathroom, which has a bath, a shower over it, a heated towel rail, a basin and a WC and also underfloor heating. The cloakroom, with its own basin and WC, adds a second toilet for larger groups.

Behind the house, the enclosed garden has a patio and astro turf, and the off-road parking takes four cars. The shop is a mile away, the pub 0.6 miles. Central heating, WiFi and TV are fitted, with fuel, power, bed linen and towels included in the rent.

Two well-behaved dogs are welcome. Smoking is not allowed, stag and hen parties are not accepted, and a good-housekeeping bond is payable. The house suits two families, or a group of friends travelling with dogs, who are happy to share a single bathroom.
