Springdale

Springdale is a thatched, split-level cottage on the main road into Lyme Regis, with the beach, pubs and shop 0.5 miles away. It sleeps six in three bedrooms, two king-size and a twin, and has two bathrooms.

The hallway has a cloakroom with a WC, and steps lead down to the kitchen, which has an electric oven, an induction hob, a microwave, a dishwasher, a fridge-freezer, a Tassimo coffee machine and a breakfast bar. Beside it, a utility room holds a washing machine, a tumble dryer and a small fridge. More steps lead down to the living room and dining area, with a Smart TV, Sky TV and a gas-fired wood burner, and a conservatory looks over the garden. Upstairs, the main bedroom has a king-size bed, an en-suite bathroom and a dressing room. The second king-size, the twin and a shower room complete the floor.

The rear garden is mainly lawn, with seating on two patios and a small fenced pond at the bottom. Bicycles can be stored in the garage, which also has an extra fridge and freezer. The private driveway takes two cars and has a steep incline.

Because of the thatched roof, smoking, barbecues, candles and naked flames are not allowed. There are different levels and stairs throughout, and dogs are not allowed. The cottage suits a family or a group of six who are comfortable with steps.
