Starfish

Starfish takes the second floor of a building in Lyme Regis, and the sea is the point of it: the large windows of the open-plan living space frame panoramic views, and a window seat sits right in front of them. The kitchen has a breakfast bar with a stool, and the open-plan space also holds a dining area.

Getting up is the catch. There are four flights of stairs and no lift, so think about luggage before you book. Parking is in a public car park a short walk away, payable on site and subject to availability, and guests can load and unload on Marine Parade close to the building.

Two bedrooms sleep four: a king-size with a TV, and a twin. A walk-in shower, basin and WC fill the shower room. The kitchen has an electric oven, grill and hob, a microwave, a fridge with an ice box, a washing machine with tumble dryer and a dishwasher. Heating is gas central heating, and there is a TV, a Blu-ray/DVD player, a Bluetooth speaker and WiFi. Bed linen, towels, fuel and power are all covered.

The shop and the pub are each 0.1 miles away. The apartment does not take pets and is non-smoking. It suits a couple or a small family who want a sea view and are happy to climb the stairs for it.
