The bedroom at The Apple Loft at Jordan House is in the loft, reached by steep cottage-style stairs, so think about that before booking if stairs are a problem for anyone in your party. The super-king-size bed sits under exposed wooden beams and a sloped ceiling, and the holiday home is for two.

It is in the residential area of Bowleaze Coveway, near Preston. The ground floor holds a kitchen and a conservatory-style living/dining room with tiled flooring, wood panelling and exposed stonework. The shower room is downstairs too, with a walk-in shower, a basin and a WC.

The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a washing machine and a dishwasher. Underfloor heating, a Smart TV and WiFi are included, along with fuel, power, bed linen and towels. For warmer weather there is a fan in the bedroom and a portable air conditioning unit in the living/dining room, though that unit needs water and is not suitable for the bedroom carpet.

Outside, a garden with furniture goes with the property, and off-road parking takes one car. Pets and smoking are not allowed. Check-in is from 3pm and check-out by 10am. A shop is 0.6 miles away, with a pub at 0.7 miles and the beach at 0.8. It suits a couple travelling in one car, since there is one bedroom and one parking space.
