Threshing Barn

Threshing Barn is a barn conversion in the hamlet of Thornicombe, with the market town of Blandford Forum nearby. Off-road parking takes three cars, and the entrance hallway has room for boots and jackets. The kitchen/diner has shaker-style units, and its bi-fold doors open onto the enclosed rear garden, where there is furniture and a hot tub.

The sitting room has a corner sofa and a TV, and a cloakroom has a basin, a heated towel rail and a WC. All three bedrooms are on the first floor: a king-size with a Juliet balcony, a king-size with an en-suite, and a twin. The bathroom has a bath with a shower over it. The kitchen has an electric oven, a hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a washing machine and a dishwasher, and the house has super-fast wifi. Oil central heating is fitted, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent. A highchair and a travel cot are available on request.

One well-behaved dog is welcome, and there is a shared enclosed grass area for dogs. An outside paddock is open to guests as a play area, with a football pitch and outdoor games set up. The nearest pub is 1.8 miles away and the nearest shop is 2.6 miles away.

Smoking is not allowed, one-night bookings are not accepted, and a good-housekeeping bond is payable. The barn can be booked together with a second property to sleep up to ten guests. It suits a family or two couples who want a private hot tub and space for a dog.
