Watersmeet

Watersmeet is a second-floor apartment overlooking Lyme Bay in Lyme Regis. It sits over a restaurant with an outside terrace, so occasional late-night events are possible. Floor-to-ceiling French windows open from the open-plan living space onto a balcony with furniture, and the kitchen/breakfast room has an electric oven, grill and hob, a microwave, a fridge freezer and a washing machine/tumble dryer.

Two double bedrooms each have an en-suite with a walk-in shower, and the third bedroom is a twin. A family bathroom has a bath with a shower over it, and a separate cloakroom has a basin and WC. All the bedrooms have a TV, and the apartment has four TVs in all, with a Smart TV and FreeSat, plus two DVD players, a CD player, WiFi and gas central heating.

Getting here takes some planning. There are two flights of stairs up to the apartment, and there is no parking directly outside. One permit is supplied for the Woodmead car park on Hill Road, a short walk away, with no allocated space and subject to availability. A travel cot is available, and a good-housekeeping bond is payable. No pets and no smoking.

The shop and the pub are each 0.1 miles away. It suits a family or two couples travelling together who are happy with the stairs and a permit space, and who don't mind a restaurant downstairs.
