Watersplash Cottage

Watersplash Cottage is a Grade II listed, traditional cottage in the centre of Lyme Regis, spread over three floors. The sitting room has an electric stove-effect fire and a window seat overlooking the river. The kitchen/diner has French doors to a patio and decking area, where tables and chairs are set out.

The twin bedroom is on the first floor, and the king-size, which has its own TV, is on the second. The bathroom has a bath with a shower over it. The staircases are narrow and winding with limited head height, which is worth weighing up before booking. The kitchen has an oven, hobs, a microwave, a fridge, a washing machine, a dishwasher and a tumble dryer, and there is a Smart TV, a DVD player and wifi. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent.

Outside is a courtyard garden. Parking is a short walk away: one permit is supplied for Woodmead car park on Hill Road, within a five-minute walk, with no allocated space and subject to availability. A shop is within 0.16 miles and a pub within 0.1 miles.

Pets are allowed; ask the owner how many when booking. Smoking is not allowed, and a good-housekeeping bond is payable. The cottage suits two couples, or a small family, who are comfortable with narrow winding stairs and a walk to the car.
