Weston Farm Cottage

Weston Farm Cottage is a secluded five-bedroom property backing onto fields near Worth Matravers, close to Langton Matravers. It sleeps ten. The pub is 0.5 miles away, the coast 1 mile and Swanage 4 miles, and the shop is 2.5 miles. The rooms sit over several levels, with a number of internal steps.

A few steps down from the hallway is a lounge with an oak floor, a glass roof and a TV/DVD. The kitchen-diner has a vaulted ceiling, a double oven, a hob, a dishwasher, a microwave, a washing machine, a fridge, a freezer and a coffee machine; three steps lead up to a utility room with a dryer. The lower-ground snug has a wood burner, with logs included from October to the end of April, and a keyboard. On the ground floor are two en-suite doubles, one with a 5ft bed, plus a bathroom with a claw-foot bath, with a couple of steps to the en-suites. Upstairs are a twin, a double, a bunk bedroom and a shower room. Underfloor heating and electric are included, and Wi-Fi is for email and web browsing only.

The back garden is mostly lawn with a large terrace, outdoor furniture, a pizza oven, a BBQ and an outdoor shower. The front has a raised lawn and a fire pit, to be used at your own risk, and there is a children's tree swing. There is a half-acre games field, and the property also has football goals, a large trampoline and kit for badminton, rounders and cricket. Four dogs are allowed, with additional charges, but not upstairs or on furniture. Parking is ample and off the road. Arrival is from 17:00 and the house is vacated before 10:00. The cottage suits a big family or two families with dogs.
