Worth Cottage

Worth Cottage is a cottage for eight in Worth Matravers, near Swanage and not far from Langton Matravers. The village tearoom and pub are within walking distance, the beach is too, and the shop is 1.5 miles away. The master king-size bedroom is on the ground floor.

The lounge has wooden floors, a beamed ceiling, a wood burner and a TV/DVD. The kitchen-diner has a tiled floor, a farmhouse table, an oven, a hob, a microwave, a fridge and a dishwasher; a utility room holds the freezer, a second fridge, a washer/dryer and a WC. The ground-floor master bedroom has a beamed apex ceiling, a sofa, its own TV and a second wood burner, and a shower room is nearby. Cottage stairs from the kitchen lead to another king-size room with a sofa, an armchair and a TV, a double, a twin and the family bathroom, which has a freestanding bath and a separate shower. Wi-Fi, bed linen, heating and electric are included. A fold-out bed for a child is available on request for a fee.

A large terrace by the cottage has garden furniture and a BBQ area, with steps up to a big lawn. A walled courtyard sits alongside. The drive takes four to five cars. One dog is allowed, with additional charges that may apply. Confirm the pet policy when booking. Guests arrive from 17:00 and depart before 10:00. The cottage suits a family or two couples who want a ground-floor bedroom and a lawn for children.
