Dunshay Cottage

Dunshay Cottage is a semi-detached house on the outskirts of Harmans Cross, near Swanage and not far from Langton Matravers. It has four bedrooms on three floors and sleeps seven, and there are steps between several of the rooms, so it suits people who do not mind stairs.

The kitchen-diner on the ground floor has an electric oven and hob, a fridge/freezer and a microwave, with a dining table opposite. A few steps up is a utility room holding the washing machine and dishwasher, and more steps lead to a lounge with a TV/DVD. A separate WC is in the hall. Upstairs on the first floor are a twin bedroom with its own en-suite shower and WC, a king-size bedroom reached by steps down, and a family bathroom with a roll-top bath, a separate shower and a WC. The converted attic on the second floor has a single bedroom, a second twin and a bathroom with a bath and WC, all with restricted head height.

An enclosed lawn runs round two sides of the house, and off-road parking at the front takes three cars. The shop is within walking distance, the pub is 2 miles away and the beach is 3 miles. There is Wi-Fi. Check-in opens at 16:30 and check-out is before 10:00. Dogs cannot be brought. The cottage suits a family or a group of up to seven who are happy with steps and low attic ceilings.
