Mallow Cottage

Mallow Cottage is a stone house in Langton Matravers on the Isle of Purbeck, with Swanage 2.6 miles away. It is arranged over three floors and has hill and sea views. The cottage sleeps seven: six guests plus one extra child in the family room, which has a super king-size bed and a single. Upstairs on the second floor are a double bedroom and a twin.

The open-plan living space has a kitchen with an oven, hob, microwave, kettle and toaster, a dining area and a sitting area, with gas central heating, a TV and WiFi. There is one shower room with a walk-in shower, plus a cloakroom. Fuel and power, bed linen and towels are included, and a highchair and cot are available.

The enclosed garden has furniture and a private hot tub, and off-road parking takes one car. The pub is 0.3 miles away, the nearest shop is 1.5 miles and the beach 2.8 miles. The cottage is on the main road through the village. The internal staircase is steep and compact, and may not suit guests with limited mobility. It is part of the Old Malthouse School site, where new homes are being built, so the access route is affected and your stay and views could be too.

One well-behaved pet is welcome, and smoking is not allowed. A good-housekeeping bond is payable. With a hot tub, a garden and a single shower room, it suits a family or a group of friends who do not mind sharing.
