23 Millhams Street

23 Millhams Street is a remodelled Victorian cottage in the historic centre of Christchurch. From the street it looks like a traditional terraced cottage, and inside the kitchen, dining area and sitting area run together in one open-plan room with a Smart TV. The kitchen has an electric oven, an induction hob, a microwave, a pod coffee machine, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher and a washing machine.

Two bedrooms sleep four. The main bathroom has a jacuzzi bath with a shower over it, a basin, a heated towel rail and a WC, and a separate ground-floor shower room has a walk-in shower, a basin and a WC. That gives two washing rooms between four guests. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent, and WiFi is provided. A highchair is available, and games, UNO and playing cards are provided.

At the rear is an enclosed courtyard garden facing south west, with a patio, furniture and a barbecue. There is no parking at the cottage itself: guests use public car parks, which are paid for on site. Town centre shops, pubs, restaurants and riverside walks are 0.1 miles away, fishing and water sports 0.2 miles and the beach 1.7 miles.

One well-behaved pet is welcome, smoking is not allowed, and a good-housekeeping bond is payable. The cottage suits a small family or a group of friends who like staying in the middle of town and are happy to walk from a car park.
