Captains Retreat

Captains Retreat is a mid-terrace house in a quiet residential cul-de-sac in Christchurch, a short stroll from the quayside. It has been refurbished throughout. The kitchen with dining area opens through a door onto a small enclosed decked garden with furniture, and the sitting room has an electric fire. A basin and WC on the ground floor save a trip upstairs.

Both bedrooms are upstairs and each has its own en-suite. The double has a shower, basin and WC, while the twin has a bath with a hand-held shower, basin and WC. Together they sleep four, so nobody queues for a bathroom in the morning.

The kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. There are two TVs with Freeview, a DVD player, a CD/radio, WiFi and a selection of books and games. Gas central heating is fitted, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent. A shop and a pub are 5 minutes' walk away.

Allocated off-road parking at the front takes two cars. Pets are not allowed and the house is non-smoking. It suits friends or a family of four who want an en-suite for each bedroom and a car parked outside while they walk into town.
