27 Wick Lane

27 Wick Lane is a detached house in the middle of Christchurch, on a main road, so road noise may be heard. Pub and supermarket are close: the pub is 0.1 miles away and the supermarket 0.3 miles. A hallway leads from the entrance porch to the kitchen, the sitting and dining room and two ground-floor bedrooms, plus a cloakroom with a basin and WC.

The ground-floor king-size has its own TV and en-suite shower room, and the other downstairs room is a twin. The queen-size bedroom is on the first floor, and the family bathroom has a bath with a shower over it. The open-plan lounge has a glass conservatory-style roof and a dining table that seats six. Underfloor heating runs on gas, and the kitchen has an electric oven, a gas hob, a microwave, a dishwasher, a washing machine, a fridge and a freezer. There are two TVs and wifi, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent. Guests who need a highchair or travel cot should bring their own, as there is space for them.

Patio doors from the sitting and dining area open onto the enclosed garden, which is large, with shrub borders, a patio and an outdoor seating area. Two beehives stand at the rear of the garden behind trees, and a free inspection of the hives can be arranged, weather and availability permitting, with bee suits supplied. The private driveway holds up to four cars.

Pets and smoking are not allowed, and bookings need a minimum of three nights. The house suits a family or three couples who want separate bedrooms, two of them on the ground floor, and room to park several cars.
