Watersmeet - Christchurch

Watersmeet is a three-storey house a few steps from the River Stour in Christchurch, within a short stroll of independent shops, cafes and restaurants. It sleeps six, including infants, across three bedrooms and three bathrooms.

The ground floor holds an open-plan kitchen and dining area with patio doors to the enclosed garden, a twin bedroom and a shower room. The kitchen has an electric oven, a gas hob, a fridge/freezer, a microwave and a dishwasher. On the first floor are the lounge and the king-size bedroom with its en-suite. The lounge has a Smart TV and doors to a balcony with a bistro set and views over the river. A double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom is on the top floor, so guests need to be happy with stairs.

The rear garden is private and enclosed, with outdoor furniture. A Ring doorbell is fitted and a camera in the rear garden is switched off. Parking is for up to three cars. There is an EV charger in the car park opposite, where charges apply. The beach is 2 miles away and shops and restaurants are within 300 metres. A ferry to Hengistbury Head leaves from less than 100 yards away, and the Quomps splash pool and play area is about 200 yards away.

Stag and hen parties are not permitted, and dogs are not allowed. Arrival is from 5pm, with check-out before 10am. The house suits a family with children who want a riverside base in town.
