6 The Terrace

6 The Terrace is a two-bedroom period cottage at Brewers Quay, overlooking the harbour in Weymouth. The pub is 0.1 miles away, the shop 0.3 miles and the beach 0.7 miles. The living and dining room has a wood-burning stove, with a starter pack of logs provided. Both bedrooms are upstairs: a king with antique French decor and sea and harbour views, and a double.

The bathroom has a roll-top bath, a hand-held shower and a separate walk-in shower, and the garden has its own washroom and WC. The kitchen runs to a gas oven and hob, a microwave, a dishwasher, a washing machine and a Smeg coffee machine. There is a smart TV in the living room and an on-demand TV in the king room, which carries apps only and no terrestrial channels. WiFi is provided, and the rent covers fuel, power, bed linen and towels.

The enclosed garden has patio furniture. A stairgate, travel cot and high chair are provided. Parking is on the road.

Two well-behaved dogs are welcome, with a bed and bowl supplied at no extra charge. Smoking is not allowed, stag and hen groups cannot book, and parties are not permitted. The minimum booking is three nights and a good-housekeeping bond is payable. The cottage may not be suitable for guests with mobility issues. Best for a family or two couples travelling with dogs.
