Anchor Cottage - Swanage

Anchor Cottage is an Edwardian end-terrace house in the conservation area of the old town in Swanage. The beach, pub and shops are all within 300 metres. Parking is on the street around the property, subject to availability.

The open-plan lounge and dining area has a Smart TV, a Bluetooth speaker and a long wooden dining table. The kitchen has an electric oven, a gas hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a dishwasher, a washer/dryer and a Nespresso machine.

Stairgates are fitted to both flights of stairs indoors. On the first floor are a king-size bedroom with distant sea views through the bay window, a single bedroom, a family bathroom and a separate shower room. The single room can take an extra pull-out trundle bed on request. On the second floor, under sloping eaves, are a double and a twin.

The enclosed courtyard garden at the back faces west and has a furnished deck, a gravelled terrace and a covered patio. Up to two dogs are welcome, and additional charges may apply. Check-in is from 4pm and check-out before 10am. The house suits a family or a group of six, with a dog or two, who want to be within 300 metres of the beach.
