Bell Haven

Bell Haven is a four-bedroom house in the middle of Swanage, directly opposite a local pub and takeaway. All of the bedrooms face the pub, so there will be noise into the evenings. Half a mile covers the pub, the shop and the beach. The house has original features such as the occasional beam and stone walls. The booking limit is six guests.

The layout runs over several floors with various steps and steep cottage-style stairs to the first and second floors. The lounge has an ornamental fire, and there is a dining area beside a compact kitchen with a range cooker, a fridge/freezer, a washing machine, a dishwasher and a dryer. The bedrooms are two king-size rooms and two bunk rooms, one of them with a triple bunk set up on the third floor; of its three single beds, one is a small child's bed. Bathroom facilities are a family bathroom with a bath and handheld shower attachment, and a wet room.

The courtyard is enclosed and has seating and a BBQ. One dog is allowed, with additional charges possible, but not in the bedrooms or on the furniture. A stairgate and two travel cots are available. Street parking is the only option, and you should bring beach towels with you. The arrival slot starts at 4pm, and the departure deadline is 10am.

The house suits a family or group of friends who do not mind steep stairs or a lively street outside, and who want a BBQ courtyard to use after a day out with one dog.
