Dunvant

Dunvant is a house just outside Swanage, with panoramic views over the countryside and the sea. The large garden is not enclosed and has a lawn, a patio and outdoor seating. A pond in the lower garden means children and dogs need supervising at all times.

Inside, the sitting room has two sofas, a woodburning stove and a TV, the kitchen/diner has a table that seats six, and a conservatory has two more sofas. A utility room, a ground-floor bathroom with a bath and shower over, and a cloakroom with a basin and WC complete the ground floor.

Upstairs are 3 bedrooms for 6 guests: a double with a day bed and a desk, looking over the countryside; a double with a day bed; and a twin. A first-floor bathroom has a walk-in shower, a basin and a WC.

The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a washing machine and an air fryer. The house has WiFi, a CD player and a selection of CDs, and bed linen, towels, fuel and power are in the rent. Off-road parking takes four cars. One well-behaved dog is welcome, but not upstairs. A shop is a short drive away and a pub is nearby, and a good-housekeeping bond is payable. It is best for a family or friends with one dog who want a big garden and room to spread out.
