Anchor House

Anchor House is a three-storey townhouse in central Weymouth, with a pub and shop 0.1 mile away and the beach 0.5 miles away. Six bedrooms are spread over the first and second floors: a king-size, three doubles and two twins. The two sofa beds in the sitting room, a small double and a double, sleep a further three guests, which brings the total to 15.

There are three bathrooms: one with a roll-top bath and a shower over it, a second-floor bathroom with a shower, and a ground-floor shower room with a walk-in shower. The kitchen has an induction hob, an electric oven, a dishwasher, a breakfast bar and a pod coffee machine, and a utility room houses the washing machine and tumble dryer. The dining room seats 12. A highchair and cot are available on request, and guests bring their own mattress and bedding for the cot.

The sitting room has an electric fireplace and a large Smart TV with a Netflix subscription, and the games room has an Xbox Series S and a football table. The rear garden is enclosed and holds the hot tub, which switches off at 22:30, along with a patio seating area and a barbecue, listed for April to September.

The private driveway takes three cars, and the Swannery car park is 0.5 miles away for extras. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome. Stag, hen and similar parties are not allowed, and noise must be kept down in this residential area. A good-housekeeping bond is payable. Anchor House is best for a large family or friends travelling together with a dog or two.
