Anvil House

Anvil is a two-bedroom house on the Maltings development in Weymouth, built where the old Devenish brewery stood. Newton's Cove is a three-minute walk away, and five minutes on foot brings you to Brewers Quay and the harbour, with its restaurants. The town centre, which has a nine-screen cinema, lies beyond. The owners have updated the house.

Downstairs, the sitting room has the stairs rising from it, and the kitchen has seating for four. There is also a utility room, and a door from the house opens onto the rear garden, which has rear access to the parking area. Upstairs are a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a bathroom with a bath and a shower over.

The garden at the back is enclosed and has a patio area. Appliances include an electric hob and oven, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a washing machine, a dishwasher and a tumble dryer, and there are a TV, a stereo and WiFi. There is gas central heating, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included. A cot and a highchair can be had too.

Pets and smoking are not allowed. The house suits a small family or a few friends sharing. From the cove, the coastal path leads round to the Nothe Gardens and the Nothe Fort.
